WPF application won't run after.NET 4.5.1 update
After I installed.NET 4.5.1 I created an WPF application, but the designer doesn't show any layout information and the application doesn't run anymore. It only starts if I don't use the designer and if I switch to x86 and not x64. If I run the application from Visual Studio it starts fine with a message "The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail.". This error message is all I can find in the event log.
If I try to run the application outside of Visual Studio it throws an exception:
System.MissingMethodException: Method not found: 'System.Boolean Microsoft.VisualStudio.PlatformUI.IPlatformElementFactory.GetInputMethodControl()'.
